Collaboration. Coordination. Connection.
The Port Washington Parents' Council is a not-for-profit volunteer organization in Port Washington, NY focused on collaboration and community-building across our district's five elementary schools, middle and high schools. We serve as a liaison to district administration, amplify parent voices on a broad range of issues that affect students and families, facilitate coordination with community resources, and conduct important Outreach initiatives to serve district families throughout the year...all to support Port Washington students in achieving their fullest potential.

Parents' Council Gift Card Drive and first annual Toy Drive were resounding successes...thanks to YOU!
Our community's support of the annual gift card drive and first-ever Parents' Council Toy Drive was simply incredible. With your help, we were able to surpass our goal of raising $10,000 in gift cards and ensure their distribution to families in all Port Washington schools before the winter break.
From the steady flow of toy donations throughout the week of the Drive, to The Nicholas' Center's masterful logistics support, Learning Express' and Party on Port's generosity, and the more than 30 volunteers who helped throughout the day (parents, staff and students alike), an amazing week led up to an unforgettable day of giving. We could not be more grateful, more proud, or more hopeful that the Toy Drive will become an annual tradition.
Thank you to all who participated in these important holiday giving efforts. Your contributions made so Port students smile this holiday season.
